This Library is named after Wynne Holmes, who left a legacy at the Harambee House. She was a vital part of black students’ positive experience during her 20 years at Wellesley’s Harambee House from its founding in 1972 until her retirement in 1992. This library is a resource for all students who would like to expand their knowledge to learn more about African American culture as well as the history of Harambee House.
